Junior Members
Besides teaching our juniors technical skills in aeronautics and aviation, we try to instill values such as:
- self-discipline
- responsibility
- cooperation and teamanship
- self-esteem
- and apprecation of nature
As part of Valley Soaring Club's charter, our goal is to make flight training activities available for young people. We are dedicated to providing a safe, fun and educational environment for young people to learn and enjoy the sport of soaring
Today VSC boasts one of the largest junior memberships in the country. Junior membership is reserved for persons 22 years of age or younger and are enrolled in full time school or college.
Our juniors enjoy an active and important role in the daily operation of the club. They are trained and encouraged to perform many duties such as preflight and ground operating proceedures.
